  • The globally famed Buddhist sacred shrine Hemis Gompa is the place where the festival is celebrated with devotees gathering for celebratory activities during the two day long fest.

  • The star attraction of the festival is the sacred “Mask Dance” performed by the Buddhist monks and lamas. The dance signifies the victory of good over evil. The celebration of “Mask Dance” also explained by the lamas about its importance and its real meaning.
