Day 01 :  Arrive Leh by Flight

Morning transfer to airport to board flight to Leh. Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to the Hotel

Full day free for acclimatization (Due to the altitude gain, it is mandatory to rest and acclimatize. The height is approximately 10,500 Feet)

In the evening short, walk around the Leh bazaar

Day 02 :  Leh/Hemis/Shey/Thikshey/Leh  (100 Kms./4-5 Hrs around)

After breakfast, drive to Shey : 15-km southeast of Leh and once the capital of Ladakh is now all but deserted, the royal family having been forced to abandon it by the Dogras midway through the last century. One can get extremely dehydrated along the 4-km trek so bring plenty of water and a hat.

The best time to visit the Shey Gompa is between 7.00 and 9.00 am or 5.00 and 6.00pm since the monks perform their prayer devotions at these times.

Thikshey : Ladakh's most photographed and architecturally impressive Gompa is at Tikse, 19-km southeast of Leh, founded in the 15th century. Visit Maitreya Temple: Inaugurated in 1980 by the dalai lama, the spacious shrine of Maitreya Temple is built around a gigantic 14m high gold faced Buddha

Hemis: It is the wealthiest, best known and biggest gompa of Ladakh Its popularity stems from the major annual festival held here in summer. The festival is also has the largest thanka in Ladakh which is unfirled once in 12 years.

Day 03 : Leh/Sankar/Phyang/Stok Palace/Leh  (80 Kms.  around)

After breakfast, full day visit of Sankar, Phyang and Stok Palace
Sankar Gompa : The monastery, a small under Gompa of Spitok, is staffed by twenty monks, and is the
Official residence of the Kushok Bakul, Ladakh's head of the Gelug-pa sect. Appropriately for such a high-
ranking 'Rinpoche', his glass-fronted penthouse enjoys pride of place on top of the main building, crowned with a golden spire and a "Dharma Chakra" flanked by two deer, symbolizing the Buddha's first sermon in Sarnath.

Phyang : Built by kind Lkra-Shis_namgyal, founder of Namgyal Dynasty, in 1500 after defeating the last of the Lah-Chen King and is the home of the Sri Khing Pa sect (Red Capped).

The Stok Palace and  Museum is located about 14 kilometers away from Leh across the Choglamsar bridge. This was constructed in 1825 by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal who was the last ruler of independent Ladakh.

Day 04 : Leh/Alchi/Likir/Rizong/Uleytokpo (Appx 85 Kms./4 Hrs) (Altitudes 3800 m)

After breakfast, drive to Uleytokpo, enroute visiting Alchi: on the banks of the Indus river, is the Alchi Gompa dating a Thousand years back. One of its walls features thousands of miniature-sized pictures of the Buddha.

Likir: Founded in the 11th century AD and rededicated to a different monastic order in the 15th century AD, its earlier gompa was destroyed in a fire.  The present gompa dates back to the 18th century. 

Ridzong Monastery: Rizong Monastery, which is an isolated at the back of a natural amphitheatre and has three main rooms to visit, two with large Buddhas and third with a large Stupa.Upon arrival check in at Hotel

Day 05 : Uleytokpo/Lamayuru/Spituk/Leh (Appx 160 Kms./6 Hrs) (Altitudes 3800 m)

After breakfast, drive to Leh, enroute visit  Lamayuru and Spituk

Leh Buddhist culture tour

After breakfast visit Lamayuru Monastery - Situated at the altitude of 3800 meters between Fotu-la and Khalsi. As per the legend, in ancient times a lake covered this site. One day a Hermit predicted that there will be a monastery one day and he throws the grain of rice on the earth which automatically forms the shape of Swastika (Yundrung) from where the name comes (Yundrung Tharpaling Gompa).

Spituk : 14 kms from Leh, the 15th century monastery, which tumbles down the sides of a steep knoll to a tight
 cluster of farmhouses and well-watered fields, is altogether more picturesque. The temple Gonkhang is approximately a thousand years old, from Paldan Lumo temple, on the peak of the mountain

After visit drive to Leh, on arrival check into the Hotel

Day 06 : Leh/Nubra (Approx. 120 Kms. / 5 Hrs ) (Altitudes 4020 m)

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, on arrival check in at Camp.
Afternoon visit The Nubra Valley lies in the North of Leh and The valley is on the trade route from leh to Khangar via Samsar and Karakoram pass, Apart from unparallel trekking opportunities. The valley have several Buddhist Gompas Diskit Gompa is 350 years old and is situated on the highest point near the village in which there are about 120 Resident Buddhist Monks.

Day 07 : Nubra Valley

After breakfast, full day visit Nubra Valley :The Nubra Valley means Ldumra (the valley of flowers), situated in the north of Leh. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. above the sea level. The main attraction in this area is Bactarian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes, to Hunder Monastery. Later drive to Panamic hot sulpher spring and on the way back visit and Panamic Gompa :30 km from Sumur, Panamic is a small village with a hot spring and a gompa, Ensa gompa, as its main attractions. Reaching the gompa, covered by poplar trees, is quiet exhausting since the journey takes three hours each way.
Overnight at Camp

Day 08 : Nubra/Khardongla Pass (5600 M)– / Leh (Approx. 120 Kms. / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Leh, Via Khardongla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of World Records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains

Upon arrival check in at Hotel
Afternoon free for independent activities

Overnight at Hotel.

Day 09 : Leh/Delhi by flight

Morning transfer to the airport in time to connect flight for Delhi.
On arrival, meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer for your onward destination
