History

The hill station Dalhousie was founded by the Lord Dalhousie in the year 1854. He loved the place due to its beautiful surroundings, peaceable atmosphere etc.

Climate

AIR
Pathankot Airport is the nearest airport to the Dalhousie Hill Resort.

RAIL
Pathankot Railway Station is the nearest. One has to travel to Pathankot by train and then the further journey can be completed by road. It takes around 2-3Hrs drive to reach Dalhousie from Pathankot.

ROAD
Dalhousie is well-connected by roads.
